Introduction
We aim to provide a positive atmosphere and stimulating environment in which to develop the whole child. We seek to ensure that each child has the opportunity of achieving his or her own academic potential and that our children are happy, hard-working and well-mannered.
In the classroom, we believe in a traditional approach to education. Our methods are generally formal and our expectations of the children are high. Our pupils are encouraged to develop good work habits. The children can participate in a varied range of activities to develop their musical, artistic and sporting skills. We are a caring school and we hope that every child will play an important role in shaping our community.
Rosemead has a strong, experienced teaching team. Our teachers enjoy teaching here and turnover is low, so that there is considerable continuity. The staff are encouraged to enrich their teaching by attending training courses appropriate to education at Rosemead.
