The Role of Parents
Parents play a very significant part at Rosemead, not least because of the unusual nature of the school's governance. The Rosemead School Association provides opportunities for the parents and children to meet each other at social events and to raise extra funds for the school community. The association forms an active and supportive group, which is very much involved in the day to day life of the school.
There is an open-door policy at Rosemead, and parents are able to communicate easily with teachers, discussing any matters that may arise. They simply need to speak to the teacher, and a time convenient to both will be found.
A particular highlight in the Rosemead parent calendar is the family ski trip, organised for the Easter break.
