P.E. and Games Kit — Boys and Girls
It is important for health and safety reasons that students present themselves for PE, Games and Clubs in the correct attire. Because of the different activities our pupils play (especially in years 4 - 6 games) there will be some variations from the standard kit. For your information, the requirements for PE and Games Kit across the school are outlined below.
P.E. Kit
Nursery and Reception - White polo shirt, navy shorts and black slip-on plimsolls.
Years 1 - 6 - White polo shirt, navy shorts, white socks, black slip-on plimsolls and grey tracksuit.
Games Kit
Years 2 - 6 - PE kit, purple or grey track suit, dufflecoat and pacamac. Mostly white trainers (Velcro fasteners are recommended) must be worn as plimsolls are not strong or safe enough to cope with the terrain of the fields.
Clubs
Soccer - Games kit (mostly white trainers, or boots) long socks, shin pads
Hockey - Games kit, long socks, shin pads and mouth guard (compulsory)
Rugby - Games kit (mostly white trainers - not boots) and shorts (Mouth guard not necessary as 'Tag' version of game played)
Netball - Games kit (mostly white trainers)
Swimming - Purple swimming cap (available from office), purple swimming costume, towel and swimming goggles
During the wetter months, the children are also asked to bring a change of clothes, so that they do not have to travel home in damp or muddy kit.
