Holly (year 3) has lost her tracksuit bottoms. They are labelled with her name. If your child has a club with Holly, or is in the same year group, please could you double check at home that you do not have Holly's pair?

Open Morning

Open Morning

This morning Rosemead had another successful Open Morning. Thank you to all those people who took the time to visit us, to find out about our school.

The year 6 children did a marvellous job of ushering our visitors around the school - both at EC and TPR - and, from the feedback we received, they were most informative about the school.

Our aim on Open Mornings is to show our visitors a normal school day, with the children going about their usual lessons. We also have administrative staff, the Senior Leadership Team and Governors present for questions over a cup of tea or coffee.

We plan to have more Open Mornings next term so, if you missed today's and would like to visit Rosemead, please check our homepage within the remainder of this term for further dates. Alternatively, you can ring the School Office on 020 8670 5865 to book a place on one of our Tuesday morning showrounds. We look forward to welcoming you to our school.

Lost Ballet Shoe

Rebecca 6R has lost one of her ballet shoes, size 35.

She would be very grateful if ballet students could double check to see if they have two shoes which are not a pair or an extra shoe.

Thank you.

RSA Coffee Morning

Thank you to everyone who came to the RSA's coffee morning on Friday 5th March - especially those of you who had other commitments but managed to pop in for a quick cuppa. We had a good turn out.

Thanks too, to those of you who let me borrow their coffee plungers and who baked goodies for us to munch - they were very much appreciated. We managed not only to gobble all of Gia's lemon drizzle cake but also put a big dent in the chocolate cakes, raisin and oatmeal cookies and biscuits that were on offer. In doing so, we raised over £40 for the RSA in donations - well done!

A huge thanks to Mrs Lambton and Mrs Wilson in the TPR kitchen who made the morning go smoothly, and sorry not to see those of you who weren't able to make it. Our next coffee morning is on Friday 30th April at the Elmcourt site - I hope to see you all then.

Lost Silver Earring

I mislaid a very large silver diamond shaped dangly earring last Tuesday, possibly in the playgound at TPR. I wonder if anyone spotted it. If so, please hand it in to the Office.

Thank you.

Tom (6R) lost his school uniform last week at rugby. His uniform was in his PE bag, and several items in the bag were labelled with his name. His school shoes were also in the bag.

If anyone has inadvertently taken Tom's PE bag home, please could they return it to him as soon as possible. This is obviously a pressing matter.

Thank you.

On Friday the 26th of February our Student Council event “Wear red for the British Heart Foundation” was a big success. We raised £179.86 at TPR for the British Heart Foundation which is a very important charity helping not only the elderly with their heart problems, but children too. Next week we will be able to tell you how much was raised at EC. Everybody looked great and had a really fun time. I am really looking forward to the next event!
