Athletics at Norman Park
Today, ten children from year five attended a marvellous athletics event at Norman Park. I will say little more at this point, as Miss King is going to ask one of the children to produce a report on the event, which we will then post in the PP. The pictures below are a taster of the day, and our thanks go to all the children for their wonderful sportsmanship as well as their excellent behaviour. Also thanks to Ms Bevan's daughter, who assisted us splendidly, as one of the official time-keepers for the day, to Miss King, for preparing and co-ordinating our participation in this event, and to Mr. Gallgher, for playing such a big part in the team's preparation for the event.
Now for the pictures...
The squad.
Team talks.
Time-keepers.
All on course.
On your marks.
Get set.
Go.

It seems that Norman Park was the place to be today. We were certainly delighted to be there. :)
Science Week
1 Jun 2009 9:15PM
All the children thoroughly enjoyed Science Week. Here we have some images to show just how much fun they had during the week, and in particular, on Monday, when they dressed up. We hope you enjoy them...
Year 2 with keen questions.
Year 3 with beckoning beakers.
Year 4 with careful scrutiny.
More year 4 with patient pipettes.
Year 5 with engaged energy.
More year 5 with ceaseless concentration.
And year 6 with scientific focus.
To sum up 'Science Week':
A marvellous method, leading to record results. Our conclusion? Science is certainly scintillating!
