RSA News - Summer Fair
21 Jun 2009 9:13PM
What a wonderful afternoon we had on Saturday, as the Rosemead community came together to celebrate our Summer Fair. We will know the totals raised by the event very soon, but early estimates suggest an improvement on last year.
Many thanks to everyone involved, but particularly to the RSA for organising the whole event. A few names we must mention are Tracy Laughton, Claire Roome, Martha Jones and Sarah Sheppard. Many thanks also to all the Class Reps for mustering their classes, to everyone who manned stalls or brought in items to be sold, to those who sold raffle tickets and to all those who came along to support the event.
After the money had been bagged at 6.00pm, Mr. Robinson set about making sure the remaining tables and chairs were returned to their proper homes and floors were cleaned, ready for school on Monday morning. Many thanks to him too for all his efforts.
On days such as Saturday, we are reminded just how truly lucky we are to be part of Rosemead.
Now, we raise our eyes to the Summer Ball... Could it get any better?
