1C created this wonderful 'Forever Wedding Card' for Miss Curle, their class teacher, who is getting married in the summer.
The children had a lovely time creating this surprise with the help of a few parents.
Each canvas has a few words:
With love.... To you... On your special day.
The children have attached their own heart labels to the bottom with individual messages.
The children and parents of 1C would like to send their best wishes via the Purple Patch too. Have a wonderful day Miss Curle.

There was an array of talent, as you will have already read in an earlier post from Mrs.. Everitt. Now take a look at some of the performers in action.
Some were singing...
Others were playing...
Some were hula-hooping...
And others were dancing...
What a week!

RSA News - Summer Ball
12 Jul 2009 8:32PM
Last night was the Rosemead Summer Ball. The event, held in the crypt of All Saint's Church, Dulwich, had been organised by the Rosemead School Association. The crypt had been decorated by several talented members of the RSA and looked absolutely beautiful.
On arrival, we were met by a waiter, who offered us champagne. All assembled, including parents, friends and, of course, Mrs. Brown and her husband, chatted and sipped until it was time to dine.
After we were invited through to our tables, we said grace, then enjoyed three delicious courses, followed by coffee and chocolates.
After dinner, Mrs. Brown thanked and gave gifts to all those who had participated to make the event so successful, particularly Martha Jones, the Chair of the RSA.
From here on to the end of the evening, we were treated to some light jazz, which hit just the right note, by Steve Foley and his band.
For those who attended, it was a wonderful way to celebrate the end of the academic year. If you were not there, I would advise you to keep your eyes open for tickets to the next RSA Ball. I can not imagine they will be around for too long..!
Shine Week

Monday 6th July
Mr, Mrs and Master Jones started off SHINE week with a marvellous rendition of Saint Saens’ ‘The Swan’: Mrs Jones on cello, Mr Jones on French horn, Master Jones on piano. The staff and children were all moved by this beautiful piece of music so masterfully played.
During lunchtimes the children took to the decking area to practise ballet moves, break dancing and hula-hoop skills. Auditions took place for the talent contest.
Tuesday 7th July
Miss Hussein (midday supervisor) showed the children how to be a majorette. Mrs Wright sang ‘I will survive!’ Mrs Candini (catering assistant) delighted the children with a song during dessert.
Wednesday 8th July
TALENT CONTEST
Five children from Year 6 joined us to adjudicate. There were 35 entries, over a third of them from nursery. There were acts from Michael Jackson impersonators to piano recitals! The results will be announced next Monday.
Thursday 9th July
ART DAY
Mrs Jackson worked with all year 1 children to create a permanent installation entitled ‘Leaving our mark at Elmcourt’.
Mrs Hind worked with RT, making paper plate fish and jellyfish.
Mrs Walker worked in the afternoon with RT teaching them about product branding.
Mrs Laughton worked with RS doing watercolour self-portraits.
Mr Sierra brought in his family loom and created a piece of weaving with the children that will be framed and hung in nursery.
Miss Angie Brown entertained the children with a medley of her songs.
Mrs Harhalakis worked with nursery children to create an Alphabet Book which will be left in the reception area at EC.
Many thanks to all these parents for their support and enthusiasm. Thank you for sharing your talents with us.
It has been a wonderful week at Elmcourt! Special thanks go to Ms Sawalha for organising it. We look forward to a repeat performance next year.
