The next meeting of the Rosemead Prayer Group will be on Friday 9th October at 9.15 am. We shall meet at 51 Idmiston Road (a short walk from the school). If you require further details, please ring Chloe Volz on 07986 288991.

RSA News - Cake Sale - Reminder

On Monday, 12th October, we will be holding a very exciting cake sale. We will be using the event to celebrate Black History Month, and there will be 'Caribbean Goodies and Entertainment', including delicious jams!
As ever, points will go to Houses at TPR, but at both TPR and EC we want as many people as possible to enter into the spirit of this special cake sale by thinking internationally...
Why not identify your cake by its country or origin (as well as your child's House at TPR)? How about Jamaica Ginger Cake or American Chocolate Brownies? I'm sure you can be far more imaginative...

Please come to a sale of half-price Dorling Kindersley books at Elmcourt this coming Friday in the school hall. It will begin at 3.20 and finish at 4.15pm. We look forward to seeing you there.

Please find below details of a football course, running during the half term holiday, led by 'Total Football', who run several of Rosemead's football clubs...
Venue:
Dulwich Sports Club, Giant Arches Road (off Burbage Road), London, SE24 9HP.
Dates:
Week 1 - Monday 19th-Friday 23rd October
Week 2 - Monday 26th- Friday 30th October
Courses:
Ball Basics - open to 3-5 year olds - 09:00-12:00 - £14 per day or £60 per week.
Talent Training - open to 6-9 year olds - 09:00-15:00 - £23 per day or £105 per week.
Aim to Improve - open to 10-13 year olds - 09:00-15:00 - £23 per day or £105 per week.
Important Info:
A packed lunch will be required as well as enough refreshments for the whole day.
Please can you arrive 15 minutes before the course is due to start.
Children should wear suitable clothing and shin pads. Also two sets of footwear will be required (i.e. football boots & a set of trainers).
There will be a end of week presentation with prizes and awards for Sportsperson of the Week & Player of the Week.

FA and/or UEFA football coaching qualifications.
Undergone enhanced Criminal Records Bureau checks.
Child protection & first aid certificates.
Six years or more coaching experience.

A pair of white size 2 Hi-Tec trainers have been found and have been sitting in the office at TPR for the best part of a week.
If these sound familiar, please visit the office to reclaim them.
Christmas Fair Request

Wanted - Toys, Games and Children's Books
At our Christmas Fair on 12 December we will have a nearly-new toy stall. If you are planning a clear-out of your cupboards this autumn, please squirrel away toys/games/children's books that are in good condition for us to sell at the Fair.
Also, we would like to donate any items that we don't sell to a local children's charity and if anyone has any suggestions for this, please email Zena.
