Troupers Theatre Skills at Rosemead
As of January 10th, 2010, Rosemead will be hosting Troupers weekly theatre skills classes.
Troupers is run by Bristol Old Vic Theatre School trained actors Jim Rastall and Phil Sarson.

RSA News - Christmas Fair and Tree Sale

Don't forget to visit our Thurlow Park Road site on Saturday for our annual Christmas Fair and Tree Sale. This is always a wonderful event - and a super opportunity to get into the festive spirit. The event runs from 11.30am until 2.00pm. There will be all sorts of stalls providing you with the chance to buy a few stocking fillers - or simply treating yourself!
For those of you who are not yet parents at the school, but have visited us for show rounds or have brought your children for assessment days, why not come and see another side of Rosemead!

We're afriad there has been a difference of information regarding the performance times today. The correct times are: Performance 1 at 9.15am; Performance 2 at 9.45am. Apologies for the confusion.

Weekend/Holiday/Christmas Babysitter
My name is Maria Wright. I have been working at Rosemead for 13 years as a dinner supervisor and playground assistant and know all the children well.
I am available to babysit on a Friday or Saturday evening at your home. I am also available on week days during the school holidays. I also provide term time collection after school.
Have you done all your Christmas shopping? Do you want to be child free when you go shopping? Is your work Christmas Party coming up? If you have any dates in the weeks to come and need a babysitter I am taking bookings now. Please call me to book so as to avoid disappointment.

Christmas Theatre - The Snowman (with Hairspray and Lion King also to follow…)
We have managed to secure some last minute availability at the Peacock Theatre for The Snowman. We have 2 options for dates – Christmas Eve at 2.30pm and Thursday 7th January at 2.30pm.

Clubs Update

Parents and children are reminded that the majority of clubs and groups have now finished for this term. Leaders of those continuing for an additional week will have spoken to the children involved.
For those who were not present at this morning's Student Council meeting, please note that the final meeting for this term will be next Friday, 11th December (8.20am). The Student Council has matters to discuss for next term - and there may be a surprise from them at the end of this term too!
Staff offering places for clubs for next term will be letting the children know during the first week back after the holiday.
Winter Warmers

With the weather having taken a turn for the worse, please make sure your child has the appropriate outer clothing for school: on wet days, they need their waterproof Rosemead jackets over their blazers or coats; on cold days, they need their heavy school coats, Rosemead hat, scarf and gloves. The playground is a very miserable place if you are not warm enough...
