Hockey News
4 Jan 2010 12:48PM

On Friday, 4th December, Rosemead's hockey team played a hockey tournament at Alleyn's. The team was made up of Hector, Fred, Cameron, Billy, Josh, Molly, Joey, Zac, Ben and myself. In our first match, we played Alleyn's 'A' team. They scored some brilliant goals and, unfortunately, we lost 5:0, but very well done to Fred's terrific defence and Billy's brilliant goal keeping.
Then we played Virgo Fidelis and drew 0:0. Well done to Cameron and Hector for nearly scoring several goals.
Following that, we played Alleyn's 'B' team. They scored excellent goals and, unfortunately, we lost 3:0. Well done to Josh, who had an injury in the last match, but came back and played very well.
They we played Alleyn's 'C' team. Sadly, we lost 5:0, but it was a great game and there were some brilliant tackles from Ben.
After that, we played Blackheath. We played extremely well and drew 0:0. Cameron made an excellent shot at goal, but the Blackheath goal keeper made a great save. Well done to Josh, who was our goal keeper and made some fantastic saves.
Lastly, we played Oakfield. Sadly we lost 2:0, but well done to the brilliant tackles from Molly, Joey and Zac.
I would like to say a big thank you to Mr. Harrison and Miss King for always being on the sideline and cheering us along.
