6R Class Assembly

First we took our instruments, masks and the lion dragon to Elmcourt. When we arrived there, we listened to year 1 singing, then we started our assembly. They especially liked the cymbals in the Chinese music. When we were finished, 6C played their music and year 1 sang to the music. Then we played with the young children. Year 1 and Reception were outside at play and Nursery was inside. At 11.15am we took our things and walked back to TPR. It was fun to meet the young children.

1S Class Assembly

1S led their assembly from start to finish with confidence, enjoyment and aplomb! The theme was 'Homes' and the assembly included poetry, songs, artwork, D.T. and P.S.H.E. There were some touching moments as each child in the class told the audience why their home was a special place for them. Well done to 1S for a terrific assembly.
