Lost Music Bag
David (5W) has lost his music book bag. He brought it into school on Friday morning, 23rd April, and placed it outside the music room with his violin as usual.
At the end of the day when David went to collect his violin and bag for orchestra rehearsal he only found his violin.
David looked again for his music bag on Monday morning, unfortunately it still had not materialised.
David has all his sheet music, Modern pieces and Grade 3 examination book (which he is currently working on) in the bag, which is labelled with his name. He is very distraught that he can not find it.
Please can all parents check to see that their child has not accidentally brought home David's bag? Its prompt return is obviously of paramount importance, as David needs the pieces contained therein for practice. Should you find it, please hand it in at the school office so that it may be returned to David.
Many thanks.
Assemblies For This Term - Final List
27 Apr 2010 11:16AM
Dear Parents,
We have now filled all our slots for parent assemblies, and would like to thank all those who have volunteered. We are sure that the children will gain a great deal from hearing about the varied interesting professions. We certainly have a good range of areas being discussed. The final list is as below:
Thursday 29th April - Translating/Interpreting (Ms. Abella)
Thursday 6th May - Environmental consultancy (Ms. Jones)
Thursday 13th May - Project Management (Mr. Broadbent)
Thursday 27th May - Medicine (Dr. and Dr. Eberhard)
***
Thursday 10th June - Law (Mrs. Couper and Mr. Hewitt)
Thursday 17th June - Photography (Ms. Fisher)
Please do not be disappointed if you had thought of putting yourself forward. Although the list is complete for this year, this is something we hope to run on an annual basis, during each summer term, so we will be looking for more volunteers next April.
Mrs. Sherwood

Student Council News

Rosemead's Got Talent
This morning we had a super 'Rosemead's Got Talent'! We had around 30 'talents' in this Student Council event, which was compered by Hector and Raphael, with Isabel R. working well as the event photographer and Freddie P. organsing music.
Mrs. Brown, Mrs. Holmes, Phoebe K. and Amber had the difficult task of judging the wide variety of talent on show. We had artwork, instrument playing, singing, dancing, comedy and magic. We also had children from years 2 to 6 taking part. The audience clearly thoroughly enjoyed being entertained. The names of the victors will be announced next week. Hold onto your hats!
