To All Children Entering Year 6 At Rosemead This September

This is a post to remind each of you about the Student Council elections at the start of term.

The Student Council has become such a important part of Rosemead, since it began in 2006. You have a major part to play in school life duing the next year, and you should be considering this over the next few weeks.

The Student Council gives you the opportunity to practise public speaking, note taking, photography, ICT, art and design, organisational skills, counting money, being 'green', not to mention thinking skills - when you come up with fun and fundraising ideas to present to the school.

So, if you have not yet responded to my letter of invitation, why not write today? I need all responses by the morning of the elections - Friday, 3rd September. Your letter can either be presented in paper form or emailed to me by clicking here.

Remember, you can bring in items to support your 'campaign', and the holidays are a perfect opportunity to gather these.

So, look to the future... Exciting times lie ahead!
