Rosemead raises funds, both for the school and for outside charities, in a variety of ways. We never cease to be amazed by the response of families and friends of the school to appeals from home and abroad, as well as for charities supported throughout the academic year. The Rosemead School Association, run by parents, and Student Council both organise such events. We also have events we support through pupil and staff initiatives.
Legging it for Leukaemia
Previously, the whole school held a day-long event to raise money for CCLG - the Children's Cancer and Leukaemia Group, as one of our pupils had been diagnosed with leukaemia. Thankfully, we are able to report that the pupil responded very well to his treatment. We raised in the region of £38,000 — with the majority of the total being raised on the day itself. This is one example of the tremendous support for our community present within Rosemead.
