ON THE BALL
Years 4-6 Swimming Gala at St. Dunstan’s College: On Thursday some of our boys and girls from swim squad attended a swimming gala at St. Dunstan’s College. Ralphie was acting captain for the day and in his squad were: Cian, Emilie, Emre, Hennie, Jasmine, Maggie, Posy, Max H, Olly D M, Ronnie, Scarlett, Shay, Tayah, Yasmin.
Cian, Olly and Yasmin won their races, and the Years 4 and 5 teams both won their medley relays. Overall our swimmers performed and behaved exceptionally well. An excellent start back into the new term.
Music Groups: There are places available in Musicianship which meets on Friday 8.30-9.00 taken by Mr Kadumukasa. This is an essential group for children taking music examinations as it improves aural and sight reading, both of which are incorporated into any music examination. However, this group is open to any child wishing to improve these skills and it is done through games and enjoyable activities whilst developing these important skills. Please email Mrs Holmes if you would like your child to be part of this group. There are also a few places available for Music Science Technology – creating, recording and mixing music.
Individual Music Lessons: Please can all parents whose children have an individual music lesson, sign and send back the Terms and Conditions sheet that was attached to the invoice sent out by the music staff (there are two copies, one for you to keep).
