Here at Rosemead we like to encourage as many of you as possible to walk, cycle or scoot to school. Walking to school not only has a transformative effect on children and their parents, relatives and carers who accompany them, but improving streets for children walking to school can make them safer, more attractive and more walkable for everyone. If you are a new family to Rosemead your child will be coming home today with a ‘Park and Stride’ map. This was produced by Year 6 pupils in conjunction with Living Streets, and indicates a 5-minute walking zone around our school together with safe places to park.

The children continue wearing the Summer uniform until half term. This also applies to the PE kit; track suits may be worn over shorts and polo shirt but not skins.
